If you plan to take your child and any siblings home after the concert, please notify the office and classroom teachers in advance to help ensure a smooth pickup process. Families will have to sign out students with the classroom teacher after concert.

If you wish for siblings to join you at the concert please connect with your students classroom teacher. Please note that all students get to see the show at the am rehearsal.

Student Personal Communication Devices

Families, please remind your student(s) that cell phones must be put away upon entering the school building. Phones should be turned off or set to silent mode and stored in backpacks or in a location designated by the teacher. For more information, please refer to School Board Policies PO1000 and PO5136.

Donations Needed:
We are currently in need of boys’ pants and undergarments in sizes 4–7.

Please try to keep a change of clothes in your child’s school bag, especially for students in the younger grades, in case of accidents during the school day. If we don’t have clothing in the right size available, we will contact you to bring a change of clothes from home.

Please remember to Seesaw the main office, call or email the office when your student(s) are out for any reason. 920-929-2835 or zehrenk@fonddulac.k12.wi.us.

Note from Principal Prozanski

As we begin our third month of the school year, I’ve been reflecting on the past two months and the wonderful progress our students have made. Our scholars are truly focusing on learning — doing their best, leveling up their work, and striving to show kindness and empathy toward one another and the adults in our school community. They are working hard to arrive on time, ready to learn, and to step into their learning zone — where they feel challenged, not bored or too comfortable.

While we still have work ahead, we’ve already made tremendous progress. I want to thank everyone who attended conferences. This time together gives teachers and families the opportunity to celebrate student successes and set goals as we move into Quarter 2. If you were unable to attend, please contact your child’s teacher to schedule a conference — we want to connect with every family.

November marks the beginning of our season of celebrations. We look forward to our 3rd–5th Grade Concert on November 6th and our Veterans Day celebration on November 11th. November is also a time for gratitude, and I am truly thankful for each and every scholar at Roberts. Each student brings joy, energy, and enthusiasm to our school — even on the hard days, I am deeply grateful.

I am also thankful for our incredible staff, who work tirelessly to design meaningful, challenging lessons that inspire students to reach new academic heights. I want to extend my gratitude to our support staff — instructional assistants, Encore teachers, office staff, and custodians — for all they do to support our students, staff, and families.

And finally, to our families — thank you. Allowing us to be part of your child’s educational journey is a privilege we value deeply.

Wishing you all a wonderful and thankful November.

Cathy

Message from Mrs. Jones, TOSA

Attendance Matters!

With positive attendance as our focus, we are continuing to educate students and families on the importance of being at school each day. Thank you to everyone who took time to complete our recent attendance survey! Many families shared that they were unsure about the difference between excused and unexcused absences, so we wanted to clarify:

What’s the difference?

Excused Absence: When a parent or guardian provides a valid reason for their child missing part or all of a school day.

Unexcused Absence: When a child misses part or all of a school day without parent or guardian permission.

Every day in school makes a difference in your child’s learning and success—thank you for helping us build great attendance habits together!

See the flyer below for details on our November attendance incentive.
