As we navigate the digital world, we’ve noticed an increasing impact of social media on our students' focus and learning during the school day. While technology can be a wonderful tool for education and communication, excessive use of social media—especially before and after school—can lead to distractions, fatigue, and even emotional stress that affects academic performance.
We encourage you to have open conversations with your child about responsible social media use, setting healthy boundaries, and ensuring that online activity doesn’t interfere with their school responsibilities. Some helpful strategies include:
Setting screen time limits, especially before bedtime
Encouraging device-free mornings before school
Monitoring online interactions and discussing digital safety
Reinforcing the importance of staying engaged in class
Our goal is to create a learning environment where every student can thrive. We appreciate your partnership in helping our students develop healthy digital habits that support their success in and out of the classroom.
Thank you for your support!
