School Fees: If you have not yet paid your school fee, you may do so by cash, check, or credit card through Family Access. The fee is $10 and helps cover classroom supplies. Please reach out if you are unsure whether your fee has already been paid.

If you receive a call from the school, please wait to listen to the full message left by the caller. This helps the office direct your return call to the correct staff member, as we are not always aware when building staff make outgoing calls. We want to ensure you are connected with the person who originally contacted you.

Please remember to Seesaw the main office, call or email the office when your student(s) are out for any reason. 920-929-2835 or zehrenk@fonddulac.k12.wi.us.

Dear Parents and Guardians,

In efforts to ensure that all families know how to sign into Family Access in Skyward we wanted to share directions with you. In Family Access you can find grades, attendance, lunch account balances, school fees, and much more. As your student goes through the grade levels Family Access will be used more often. Please contact the main office with any questions.

Note from Principal Prozanski

Dear Families,

Wishing you a relaxing and enjoyable spring break! We look forward to welcoming students back on April 8.

Before break, our students have been working hard on both Aimsweb and Forward testing. We will resume Forward testing for grades 3–5 beginning April 14. I am incredibly proud of the focus, effort, and determination our students have shown as they demonstrate their learning.

It is hard to believe we are entering the final quarter of the school year. As the days grow longer and warmer, we remain committed to maintaining high expectations for both learning and behavior. Our students have made great progress, and it is important that we continue to stay focused and finish the year strong.

April also marks the beginning of field trip season. Please be sure to check your child’s take-home folder regularly for important information and permission slips.

We also hope you will join us for McTeacher Night on April 23—we look forward to seeing many of you there!

Thank you for your continued support. Enjoy your break!

Cathy

Message from Mrs. Jones, TOSA

April is a great time for a fresh start! As we return from spring break, we are taking time to review our school expectations so all students can stay safe, respectful, and ready to learn. With the changing weather, please make sure your child comes prepared for outdoor recess, especially with our ever changing Wisconsin weather.

Consistent, on-time attendance is especially important this time of year. Each day builds on the next, and arriving on time helps students start their day smoothly, stay connected to learning, and feel confident in their routines. If your child is absent, please continue to contact the school to report the absence and send in any doctor’s notes when applicable. We appreciate your partnership in keeping attendance accurate and up to date.

We are also continuing to focus on social-emotional skills, especially helping students become strong problem solvers. We are encouraging students to use their words, work through small problems with peers, and use strategies like taking a break, using a safe space, or asking an adult for help when needed. These are lifelong skills that support success both in and out of the classroom.

Thank you for your continued support at home—having conversations about expectations, problem-solving, and daily routines makes a big difference. We are proud of the growth we are seeing and look forward to a strong finish to the school year!

Gretchen Jones
