Dear Families,
We’re off to a strong start this October! Our focus has been on assessing students in literacy and math to better meet their individual needs. Alongside this, we are emphasizing the importance of our core values: kindness, responsibility, and safety. We’ve been impressed with how hard the students are working to meet these expectations.
As fall settles in, please note that the weather is changing. We encourage students to wear layers so they can stay comfortable throughout the day. If possible, please label their clothing—this way, if something gets misplaced, we can easily return it.
For our 4th and 5th graders, this is a great opportunity to make choices about their clothing for recess. However, please remind them that if they opt not to dress warmly, they will need to accept the consequences of that choice.
Looking ahead, parent-teacher conferences are approaching. This is a valuable chance for you to collaborate with your child's teachers. Your partnership is essential to your child’s success, and we look forward to working together.
Thank you for your continued support!
Warm regards,
Cathy Prozanski
